PMC School of Logistics, in its endeavour to distinguish itself as a Centre for Excellence, has created the Quality Assurance System based on three main objectives.

Premoris Melioris Colisum (PMC), literally means, "The Centre for Excellence for Competency based Education".

Objectives:

  • Establish Clear Industry Standards
  • Establish a Public Recognition Process
  • Establish Market Transparency

The above objectives are evaluated and qualified through the following measures :

Outcome 1 :

STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS IN TERMS OF QUALIFICATION, TRAINING AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Performance Criteria

  • By way of rigorous interviews based on their qualification and specialization.
  • By way of provision of standard training in teaching methodology of Planning, Delivery and Assessment.
  • By way of continuous assessment and standard teachers' training guide and courseware.

Outcome 2:

STANDARDS FOR CURRICULUM, PEDAGOGY AND STUDY MATERIALS CONFORMING TO INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

Performance Criteria

  • By way of evaluation, students' feedback, industry consultation and benchmarking with institutions of higher learning.
  • With the applications of ISO 9001:2000 standards for curriculum design and course delivery.
  • Standard courseware, namely the Students' Resource Materials, Students' Workbooks and Students' Assessment Guides designed to meet the learning outcomes developed by in-house curriculum team.

Outcome 3:

STANDARDS FOR FACILITIES TO MEET THE TYPES OF PROGRAMMES OFFERED, SO AS TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE SUPPORT TO STUDENTS

Performance Criteria

  • By way of provision of state of art equipment in the delivery of contents.
  • By way of providing a conducive & well-equipped classrooms.
  • By way of website support through Discussion Board between teachers and students.

Outcomes 4:

STANDARDS FOR DISCLOSURE TO ENSURE THAT STUDENTS ARE AWARE OF THE SCHOOL'S ADVANTAGES, CHARACTERISTICS AND LIMITATIONS.

Performance Criteria

  • By way of School ALUMNI where students' participation in working with the management committee of the school.
  • By way of transparency through website information linked to the awarding institutions of higher learning.
